The packs have been living in harmony for many decades, forming a peaceful and balanced environment. But now, trouble is brewing, and they are becoming restless.
A freakishly hot summer has all but dried up the Open Forest Pack's water supply, and the Lake Ada Pack, while willing to allow them to drink from their spring, is having problems of its own. A group of human hunters have moved into the lake area, and they are poisoning the lake with their rubbish and waste. Eventually, wolves are poisoned from the toxic water, and suffer before dying.
In both the Lake Ada and Open Forest Packs’ desperate search for water, they, together, forget their fears and enter the territory of the Deep Forest pack. The Deep Forest Pack is adamant that they should leave immediately, not allowing the desperate wolves to quench their thirst. The Open Forest Pack and the Lake Ada Pack join forces
and declare war on the Deep Forest wolves.
A battle that would mark history ensues.
Soon, the Deep Forest Pack is leading the attack, their strong will acting out towards the other two packs. The weakened Open Forest and Lake Ada wolves are being massacred, one by one. They were all but wiped out.
Extraordinarily, only two survived.
Knocked out in the deciding battle, the two injured wolves wake to find themselves in their camps. The heavens have opened up and is pouring much-needed rain down upon them. Soon after, they meet and fall in love. It is not long before the female finds herself carrying pups. Once the pups are born, each of them take one to a different territory. In only a short amount of time, the packs are blossoming once more. When the two original wolves die, so does the story of the dark and secretive pack in the Deep Forest, who saved the lives of the great leaders.
The disastrous drought, the poisonous lake, the horrific battle… it all becomes no more than a beautiful myth.
Join in this wonderful adventure as the three packs (along with loners and rouges) find themselves faced with challenges and celebrations, joy and anger. Find love, find enemies, discover secrets about yourself no one else knows…[/color]
